Pristine Orientals was established to serve the particular needs of owners of Oriental, antique and other high-end area rugs.

In 1973, co-owners Bill Noyes and Dennis Cleary founded a commercial cleaning business, but found that none of the commonly used commercial methods were truly satisfactory for high quality Oriental rugs. They sought out and discovered a unique process, which combines modern compressed air technology for dusting and flushing, with the time-honored traditional method of total immersion soaking. It's a slow process, but slow soaking allows the natural soap to completely penetrate the fibers, loosening old and impacted residues so they can be flushed away. The rug is left clean, soft and odor-free.

We are certified Oriental rug cleaning specialists, schooled in the Auserhlian method and are members of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR), The International Institute of Cleaning, Restoration and Certification (IICRC) and are also affiliated with the National Institue of Rug Cleaning (NIRC). Our plant is the only place in New England offering this process, which was developed specifically for Oriental rugs. We offer our services to the public, but many dealers of Oriental and antique rugs have come to rely on us as well for thorough, safe and reliable rug cleaning.
